Climate Change and Global Warming Threaten Countless Species

Animals possess features that help them survive in a particular environment. Climate change and global warming result in a change of environment, which risks the survival of numerous species of animals. For instance, lizard populations worldwide are facing the risk of extinction. These cold blooded animals have to hide from the sun if the temperature is too high, and increasing temperatures means more time hiding from the sun and therefore less time breeding.
